Approved as second line for inflammatory lesions of rosacea (papulopustular) in adult patients following use of metronidazole (cream or gel) 0.75%.
Duration of use is until condition is controlled then stop and reintroduce if recurrence. Do not use as prophylactic but save for active episodes.
Ivermectin 1% cream is applied once daily.
