6.3.3.4 Glucose interstitial fluid detection sensors
This interim guidance is to support the prescribing of real time CGM devices: KM interim information switching from isCGM to rtCGM v2
NHS Kent and Medway ICB have agreed that prescribing of continuous glucose meters (CGM) can be for those people living with diabetes in the eligible cohorts defined by NICE criteria NG17, NG18 and NG28. This is for those devices which can be prescribed on FP10 prescription only. Guidance documents to help support this implementation will be published in early 2025.
