3.2.4 Allergic emergencies

Emerade, Jext and Epipen are all on formulary. No one device is preferred due to the numerous supply problems seen with these devices. However, please note the following:

2. Ensure that people with allergies and their carers have been trained to use the particular auto-injector that they have been prescribed – technique varies between injectors.
